Final Share is an ethernet based shared storage network that connects up to 10 clients at 70 MB/sec plus each. Maxx Digital utilizes our 6 port HBA, in a QUAD Core Mac Pro, connecting our managed switch and running a single CAT-6 ethernet cable to each client, up to 300 meters, and you have shared storage.

Recently Maxx Digital has bundled Cat DV with Final Share to allow Meta Data logging and management to great success. In addition Calibrated{Q} MXF import for OSX is now fully supported. Calibrated{Q} MXF import is a QuickTime component for native importing and playback of Panasonic P2, Sony XDCAM, Ikegami GFCAM, and many other types of MXF files in QuickTime Player, CatDV, Final Cut Pro 6 & 7,  and Final Cut Studio 2 & 3 applications in Mac OSX. In layman's terms Calibrated{Q} eliminates log and transfer and allows users to drag and drop MXF workflows into FCP.
