Evo2 4 Bay Portable RAID Enclosure
The Evo2 4 Bay Rack Mount is able to deliver the fastest RAID protected storage solution available by using the latest generation Intel IOP processor and fast DDR2 memory architecture, offering true hardware RAID performance. In RAID 5, the Evo2 4 Bay Rack Mount can deliver 300+ MB/s sustained. The Evo2 HD 8 bay solutions can provide more than 500+ MB/sec of sustained of RAID protected performance. At RAID 0, the Evo2 HD will accelerate to more than 600+ MB/sec from a single unit.

Industrial & Modular Design
| Each enclosure is designed with durability and functionality in mind incorporated with a high cooling air flow system. Cool air is drawn from the front of the unit through the hard drives dissipating the heat through the rear. Being a modular design, all Evo2 enclosures have interchangeable parts. This allows high use items, such as the fan or drives, that potentially fail to be quickly and easily replaced. |
We utilize quiet, reliable, ball bearing fans which are designed specially for venting unnecessary heat away from the hard drives and enclosure. |
The Evo2 uses a simple I2C connection (only with Maxx Digital's RAID cards) for fault and activity LED's. It also uses a SFF-8088 MiniSAS connector for the controller card to the enclosure. |
Included in all our enclosures are SFF-8088 Mini SAS cables for a safe and secure connection between the RAID card and enclosure. For additional strength this fixed latch cable helps provide a stable connection and protection against accidental interruptions during your workflow. This cable will not disconnect unless you do so. |

Data Protection
The Evo2 HD comes with Maxx Digital's field proven RAID Technology, offering the highest level of data protection with minimal performance hit. Keeping your workflow uninterrupted when it matters the most. If a drive fails in RAID 5 protected mode, you can sustain a failed drive without losing any data and allows you to continue to operate. In RAID 6, it can sustain up to 2 concurrent drive failures without losing your important data.
