Maxx Digital is proud to announce its second product developed with the RED Camera Company, the Mobile Rocket RAID. The Mobile Rocket RAIDallows you to bring the functionality of the RED Rocket into the field with RAID storage functionality with your Macbook Pro. The Mobile Rocket RAID comes with 3 x PCI express slots & 8 x 2.5 inch disk modules for internal disk storage all accessed via the Express34 card module.
The Mobile Rocket RAID Video Recorder, with latest 20 Gb/sec PCI-express Extender technology, is able to extend the MacPro or MacBook PCI-express signals to external enclosure. It allows you to capture and edit video on location by using the Express 34 Card at 200MB/sec or edit in the Studio using MacPro PCIe HBA card at the speed of 600MB/sec. The amazing technology provides speed, flexibility and portability.
Currently the Mobile Rocket RAID is in development by both Maxx Digital and RED Digital Cinema. Any new information will be listed on this page and the REDuser.net form.
